This Ethics course will assist you in understanding personal space, therapeutic relationships, and professional boundaries! You’ll learn simple but effective communication skills that make it easier to maintain healthy massage relationships. And you’ll discover how to speak your truth and assert your boundaries clearly while respecting your clients and ensuring their wellbeing.
Self-Care: 2 Hours
Mental burnout and emotional bankruptcy are a real thing in a caregiving profession. Gain a better understanding of self-care activities for massage therapists for the mind, body and soul!
Anatomy Review / Bony Landmarks: 1 Hour
The best way you can deliver amazing bodywork is to really understand and keep fresh in your mind the anatomy of muscles, bones and joints! In this course, we will take 60 minutes to refresh new and seasoned Therapists with the review of the body! Play as you learn with markers, paints and hands-on learning!
Body Mechanics: 1 Hour
Massage Therapist’s turnover rate for leaving this career is far too high. Many are forced to quit due to not properly using their body and this course aims to fix that. This intensive time is used to make the big and subtle adjustments needed to keep you in the massage therapy career for the long haul. Body mechanics are retaught from the ground up as though you are new to the industry, then practiced to help break old habits and let your body memorize new positive habits.
